Responsibilities

• Deliver food, beverages, and special requests promptly and courteously to guest rooms, maintaining high standards of service.
• Set up and prepare in-room dining areas, ensuring cleanliness and presentation meet brand standards.
• Take accurate orders using the POS (Point of Sale) system, process payments, and handle cash or credit transactions efficiently.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including wine and beverage pairings, to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Maintain food safety and handling procedures throughout the delivery process, adhering to health regulations.
• Assist with meal preparation, food presentation, and bussing when necessary to support overall service flow.
• Foster positive guest relations by anticipating needs, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred; experience in the food industry or culinary background is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of beverage service, including wine and drink pairing basics.
• Excellent communication skills in English; ability to understand and follow detailed instructions.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing cash or credit payments.
• Familiarity with POS systems and food safety standards is desirable.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, walk long distances within the hotel premises, and lift moderate loads when delivering orders.
• Prior hotel or guest services experience is advantageous but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential.
