Onsite Steward support for Food and Beverage outlets, assisting the Stewarding Supervisor with cleaning, organization, and dish care.

Sort soiled service ware promptly and carefully so it can run through the dish or pot machine correctly
Wash all ware quickly and return items to the designated storage areas
Maintain the dish machine by keeping it properly cleaned and filled with water per hotel standards
Operate the burnishing machine to achieve the proper finish on silverware
De-tarnish and polish silverware to support a proper appearance
Clean kettles, tilt skillets, pots, and pans promptly and thoroughly so cooks can complete their work
Follow attendance rules and maintain availability to work on a regular basis
Complete other job-related duties as assigned

Physical strength and stamina are essential due to the high activity level
Knowledge of service ware and how to maintain it to complement the guest experience
Ability to push/pull service carts weighing up to 150 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to transport heavy objects through a crowded room, with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to grasp, lift, carry, move, or push goods on a hand cart or truck weighing a maximum of 200 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to adapt communication style for different audiences, including supervisors, coworkers, and the public
