Job Description

In New York, onsite at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge, L.L.C., the Banquet Manager leads both front-of-house and back-of-house banquet operations. The role involves active participation in daily operations, handling guest requests, and ensuring events run smoothly from setup through the final farewell.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the front-of-house and back-of-house banquet teams.
  • Take an active role in day-to-day banquet operations.
  • Handle guest requests with professionalism and tact.
  • Position teams for success from the initial banquet setup to the final goodbye.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive banquet experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • A post-secondary diploma or degree is a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of banquet operations with a proven track record in guest and team engagement and financial performance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

$75,000 per year
