General Manager

At Rebel Hotel Company, a lifestyle boutique property in Maitland, Florida, a seasoned General Manager is invited to lead all facets of hotel operations, steer financial performance, elevate guest satisfaction, and uphold brand compliance. This leadership role oversees food and beverage operations, property initiatives, and cross-functional communications to maintain the highest standards across the property.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all restaurant, bar, and banquet teams, ensuring product quality, controlling COGS, and delivering guest satisfaction.
• Direct the overall performance of the property’s F&B operations, including P&L, guest satisfaction, brand quality assurance, budgeting, and labor management.
• Implement brand and company standards through training for all teammates to maximize revenue and service culture.
• Maintain compliance and stay current with new F&B initiatives for the brand and company.
• Ensure compliance with local and state laws.
• Foster positive relationships with the management company, property owners, and guests/clients.
• Support health, safety, and security standards across the property.
• Support guest experience and satisfaction in all operations while maintaining a high-quality product.
• Ensure adherence to hotel policies and brand standards.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as an AGM or GM in a lifestyle hotel setting.
• Proven ability to lead a team to consistently deliver exceptional guest service.
• Track record of meeting budgets, understanding P&L statements, and implementing cost controls.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on leadership development for both leaders and hourly staff.
• Weekend availability is required.
• Union experience preferred, Marriott experience preferred.
• Exempt managers typically direct the work of at least three full-time associates or their equivalents.
• Primary duties involve administrative, executive, or professional tasks more than 50% of the time, with discretion and independent judgment required for more than half of the time.
