Job Description

Join the front desk team at GrandStay Hotel & Suites in Cambridge, MN for a part-time 2nd shift role (onsite).

Responsibilities

Welcome guests and greet arrivals at the front desk.
Register guests in the computer system, verifying reservation, address, and credit information.
Promote the Preferred Guest Program and provide recognition and benefits to members present.
Accept guest payments for accounts at registration and at checkout.
Maintain a house bank, complete daily deposits, and submit accurate daily receipts reports.
Post miscellaneous charges as requested.
Capture sales through reservations and front desk inquiries.
Coordinate front desk activities to help meet guest service standards and support optimal room occupancy.
Maintain, organize, and clean the work area, lobby, and other public spaces.
Assist with mail and facsimiles and provide guests with information on hotel facilities and local attractions.
Wash, fold, and put away laundry; stock laundry storage areas.
Book reservations for guests who approach or call the front desk.
Balance cash, checks, credit card, and city ledger accounts through verification.

Due to hospitality business needs, willingness to work varying schedules.
Attendance at scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
