This position supports smooth guest-ready room standards by completing pre-arrival and post-cleaning inspections, validating inventory and cleanliness, and escalating any issues to the right teams. The role also manages key use and helps ensure accurate lost and found reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect all assigned rooms pre-arrival.
Inspect rooms after they have been cleaned by staff, confirming inventories are complete and the guest room is cleaned properly before rooms are turned over to Housekeeping Supervisors.
Use checklists to verify cleanliness and report any concerns.
Check in-room inventory including linen, remote controls, decor, dish and cookware, paper products, cleaning supplies, and electric appliances.
Report any missing inventory and any maintenance requests to the Engineering Department.
Provide reports to the Director of Housekeeping daily.
Communicate with the Housekeeping office and Housekeeping Supervisors to request needed supplies.
Properly use, secure, and return the key on a daily basis.
Immediately report all lost and found items to the Housekeeping Department.
Report to a supervisor or managers any unsatisfactory work completed in rooms.
Assist in cleaning rooms when necessary.

Requirements

Prior housekeeping experience in a hotel setting.
Must be available weekends and holidays.
Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
Frequently required to stand for periods of time; occasionally required to sit, walk, push, pull, and reach with hands and arms.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
