Hotel Per La, Autograph Collection is looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to help keep the property in excellent condition for guests, associates, and vendors. In this onsite role in Los Angeles, CA, you will lead the housekeeping team, support day-to-day operations, and help ensure cleanliness, safety, and service standards are consistently met.
You will manage the flow of work across guest rooms, turndown service, public areas, and back of house spaces, while maintaining strong communication and accountability. The position also includes handling guest requests and concerns, maintaining Lost and Found controls, and supporting emergency preparedness through training and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Supervise housekeeping staff with clear communication, training, coaching, counseling, and performance feedback to support maximum efficiency.
- Interview, hire, and train team members; recommend performance evaluations; resolve operational issues; maintain open communication; and recommend discipline and/or termination when appropriate.
- Oversee and inspect cleaning standards for guest rooms, turndown service, public areas, and back of house to ensure compliance with accident and loss prevention programs, health and sanitation standards, and applicable regulations.
- Assign work to staff by reviewing special requests and areas of focus to support a smooth housekeeping operation.
- Distribute supplies and goods at the start of each shift to control inventory, ensure proper stock availability, and help manage expenses.
- Address guest requests, concerns, and problems to protect guest satisfaction.
- Log and manage Lost and Found items and respond to related inquiries to maintain controls and support guest satisfaction.
- Implement emergency training and procedures to help protect the hotel, guests, staff, and company assets.
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Housekeeping experience preferred.
- Ability to grasp, lift, carry, or otherwise move materials weighing up to 100 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to move throughout the building and perform tasks such as bending, stooping, and reaching to assist room attendants, house-persons, and inspectors as needed, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adjust communication style for supervisors, coworkers, and the public.

- Salary Range: USD $26.50 - $26.50 per hour
